Delete your data

CyberGuard by Skillizee. You don't need an account, so there is no account to delete.

What we hold
  • CyberGuard has no user accounts and does not keep your messages on our servers.
  • Your history, feedback and settings are stored only on your device, so you can delete them yourself at any time.

Android app

  1. Open CyberGuard, tap the settings button (top right of Home), then Delete my data and confirm. This removes your check history, feedback, counters and stats.
  2. To stop Message Guard reading notifications: Android Settings > Notifications > Device & app notifications (or Notification access) > turn off CyberGuard.
  3. To remove everything, including settings: Android Settings > Apps > CyberGuard > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app.

Web app

  1. Open cyberguard-ideathon.web.app > settings (gear icon) > My data > Delete.
  2. Or clear the site data for cyberguard-ideathon.web.app in your browser settings.

Shared verdict links and the API

Text sent to a Hub verdict page or the API is processed to produce the result and is not saved by us. Standard hosting logs kept by Google Firebase are deleted automatically after a limited period. A verdict link contains the message text, so to stop others seeing it, delete the message where you shared the link.

Request deletion or a copy of your data

If you think we hold any data about you, or you want help, email pa2@skillizee.io with the subject "CyberGuard data deletion request". Tell us what you want deleted. We will reply and act within 30 days. We do not need, and will not ask for, your OTP, passwords or bank details.
